Holme Lacy
Holme Lacy House
With several spirits noted, the most prominent appears to be the ghost of the grey lady who has inspired guests to leave in terror as their belongings are moved and dark shadows are seen. The figure has been seen in the older part of the building, and was sighted on the gallery floor, which is thought to have been previously used as a hospital ward. However, one member of staff has made accounts of a ghostly apparition attempting to get into bed with them and another has seen and held conversation with an apparition dressed in a linen suit and wearing a panama type hat. With links with both Catholicism and even the Royal Family, this building has many tales of a paranormal nature that stems far back and over recent days

Hampton Court
One of Herefords true treasures and steeped with history. As yet only investigated once, though doubtless soon to be one Hefordshire's most popular sites to visit with the public now being given access to the castle and grounds. The enormous building contains an array of ghosts and activity. It has been found the spirit of a cat frequents a stairwell, where many feel uncomfortable including staff, noises are often heard and doors are reported to open/shut themselves. Further, some staff member are fearful of some areas of the building, noting a negative feeling, and feel they are being watched. Notably, the spirit of a man whom committed suicide via hanging is said to cause much of the phenomena in the area. There have also been the occasional sighting of a grey lady in the award winning grounds. If you have never visited Hampton Court we highly recommend you do.
