Ross-On-Wye
King Charles II
There are many reports of various cold spots, particularly in the area above the cellar, where apparitions have been seen by visitors. Apparently a photograph was taken where it is believed a gentleman in Victorian clothing can be seen holding a lamp in the said cellar.
Riverside
Allegedly as dusk approaches the apparition of a frail elderly lady is to be seen rowing up and down the river, appearing to be crying/sobbing.
Pengethley Manor
This amazing building that dates back to Georgian times has a huge amount of history surrounding it. It is said to be haunted by a young girl with the name Harriet. It is thought Harriet became a victim to a fire that occurred in the building around 1815.
Stoke Lacy
The Mill
Tales of dark shadows and other non-explainable events accompany this building that is even included in the Doomsday book. There is said to be a young girl and at least one gentleman, who is thought to haunt the various floors of what was once a watermill. This incredibly atmospheric building has gone through some significant changes over time, but has the absence of water surrounding it and the change of use disturbed the spectral occupiers?
