Dorstone
Arthur's Stone
Arthur's Stone, is a burial chamber dating to the Neolithic Period, between approximately 3700 to 2700 BC. The Neolithic Period, or, the New Stone Age was the period of time during which people had begun to live in small communities farming the land, but had not yet discovered the use of metals. Burton Court
Another location cropping up on paranormal investigations recently, there are numerous reports of moving objects, light anomalies visible to the naked eye, sounds such as voices/bangs and one group even experiencing items being thrown in response to questions. The most active areas are said to be thick with activity, and people sense cold spots, negativity, and auditory phenomena. One particular paranormal investigation caught evidence of what could be possibly described as an "attack" that had objects being thrown and cupboard doors intentionally be opened at force in an attempt to cause injury.
The Manor House
A recently refurbished 17th century B&B with what seems as ghosts, as guests. Investigation of the building revealed an active location, where loud bangs were heard, light anomalies recorded and people became affected by the energies of the location. There were some unusual accounts, where a medium accurately identified, for example, someone being locked in a room, reducing the said person to tears. It has also been reported of a sighting of a ghostly apparition carrying a violin. A paranormal investigation group found one particular room particularly forboding and apparently active that contained a portrait of the madonna and child.
